Centrovia

Since 1994, Centrovia has been authorized to conduct technical inspections on vehicles in the Autonomous Region of the Azores.

Its first Inspection Center opened in 1995 and currently the company operates in 5 islands:

São Miguel
Santa Maria
Graciosa
Flores
Corvo

In São Miguel, the company has 2 permanent Inspection Centers (Nordela and Ribeira Grande). All the other centers are mobile.

Centrovia performs 3 types of inspections on all categories of vehicles: periodic, voluntary and reinspections.

In the year 2000, both permanent centers became accredited by the European Quality Management System, according to the NP EN ISO 45004 (currently ISO/IEC 17020) . Currently, all Inspection Centers are certified in accordance with this European standard system.
