Last March 24th, National Student Day, Domingos Rebelo Secondary School held the ceremony for the presentation of Merit Awards regarding the school year 2020-2021. Bensaude Group marked its presence, once again, by supporting the recognition of the merit to the best student of the Socioeconomic Sciences Course, Beatriz Rodrigues e Melo.
The session was led by the Director of the Executive Council, Dr. Lúcia Medeiros, with the intervention of some teachers of the School and awarded students. Dr. Nuno Borges, Director of the Communication and Marketing Department of Bensaude Group, was responsible for the delivery of a monetary prize that aims to encourage and distinguish the excellent performance of Azorean students.
Five years ago, this same prize was awarded to the student's sister Beatriz Melo, who, in her words noted "I can say with all my certainty that this recognition was my greatest inspiration and what motivated me to become the student I am today".
