The Bensaude Group has signed a Sustainability Declaration for the Azores, taking on three commitments in the coming years to make its activity more sustainable.
The commitments to be honored by the Bensaude Group are a 10% increase in the annual volume of hours of professional training; an increase in optimization and efficiency in water and energy consumption, and lastly an incentive for local production and reduction of imports of fresh produce by 2020, through 30% of the number of producers and cooperatives associated with the INSCO Producers' Club and the increase of the current 320 products with the Azores brand, promoted by INSCO, for 350 products.
