Bensaude Tourism welcomed the new students of the Tourism Degree programme at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of the Azores.
At the reception session, which took place on Monday 18th September, the 40 or so students enthusiastically wore the symbolic welcome t-shirt to begin this important stage in their academic lives.
Alongside the Director of the Tourism Degree, Professor Daniela Fantoni Alvares, Bensaude Tourism was represented by the Operations Director of Bensaude Hotels Collection, António Casanova.
As a result of a partnership with this leading institution in the archipelago, which has prevailed for eight consecutive years, Bensaude Tourism has honoured the merit of the best student in the Tourism Degree every year with the Excellence Award worth 1000 euros.
This is yet another incentive to develop qualified Azoreans in the field of tourism and is the result of the Bensaude Group's commitment to the Azoreans and the Azores.
