Sport Zone and Worten at the Parque Atlântico shopping centre, in São Miguel, are to be congratulated.
Twenty years ago, in 2003, the first Worten arrived in the Azores at the large shopping centre of the Azores, Parque Atlântico, with a wide range of technological products in electronics, entertainment, telecommunications and household appliances. More recently, the technical centre, known as Resolve, was refurbished to complement its services.
Also in Parque Atlântico and in the same year, the first large sports shop in the Azores was born, Sport Zone, with multiple clothing and footwear options, representing international brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma, Fila, North Face, New Balance, Columbia, among others.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of both shops, various activities will take place.
Exclusively at Worten Parque Atlântico, customers can enjoy discounts of up to 20% on selected items from the Becken, Goodis, Mitsai and N' Play brands between 15 and 20 October.
At all of Sport Zone's eight shops of the Azores, customers will enjoy a 20% discount campaign throughout the shop on 14 and 15 October, which will be combined with the promotional actions in force on these days.
At Sport Zone in Parque Atlântico, in addition to the discounts, there will also be an offer to customers of two free Zumba classes, at 12pm and 5pm.
As a way of celebrating this special date, Sport Zone will be supporting the Breast Cancer Solidarity Walk which will take place in Ponta Delgada on 20 October. The initiative of the Portuguese League Against Cancer will stop at the Forno da Cal bathing area to release hot air balloons (100% biodegradable).
