This Saturday, September 23rd, another "Vasco Bensaude" Golf Tournament was held at the Furnas Golf Course in São Miguel.
The annual tournament organised by Verdegolf Country Club was attended by 75 registered players.
The Bensaude Group is the official sponsor of this event, which honours Vasco Bensaude, the visionary man who, in 1936, built the first golf course in the Azores, at Achada das Furnas - the second oldest golf course in Portugal.
After the competition, the participants enjoyed lunch, followed by a ceremony to announce the results and hand out prizes. It was a day of great conviviality, attended by the CEO of the Bensaude Group, Dr Vítor Cruz, and the Director of the Terra Nostra Garden Hotel, Dr Simão Bensaude Markovitch.
